Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the TrueSnap service ("Service") provided by TrueSnap ("the Company"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and you as a user.
1. Definitions
- "Service" refers to all features provided by the Company, including the website and the dedicated desktop browser (TrueSnap Browser). - "User" means a member who uses the Service under these Terms. - "Credit" means the unit of payment corresponding to one capture.
2. Effect and Modification of Terms
These Terms take effect when posted on the Service. The Company may amend the Terms when reasonably necessary, with at least 7 days' notice (30 days for changes adverse to users) given in-product before the effective date.
3. Membership
You may sign up via Google OAuth. The Company does not store passwords and assumes no responsibility for matters governed by Google's authentication policies.
4. Provision of the Service
The Company provides registered users with the following: 1) Right to download and use the dedicated desktop browser 2) Generation, download, and storage of capture results (evidence packages) 3) Blockchain anchoring and certificate issuance 4) Other supplementary features offered by the Company
5. Credits, Payment, Refunds
1. The Company grants a limited number of free credits at sign-up. 2. Additional credits may be purchased in packs. The maximum amount per single top-up is ₩50,000. 3. Charged credits are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Unused credits will automatically expire at the end of this period, and no refund will be given for expired credits. 4. Refunds for unused credits are available within 7 days of payment in accordance with applicable e-commerce consumer protection laws. Already-consumed credits are not refundable. 5. Refunds are processed exclusively via the original payment method (credit card). Cash refunds are not available. 6. Credit top-up history, usage history, and remaining balance can be viewed on the dashboard.
6. User Obligations
You shall not: - Misappropriate another person's account, payment method, or personal information - Use the Service to collect or distribute illegal content or infringe others' rights - Interfere with normal operation of the Service (unauthorized access, automated bulk requests, etc.) - Resell or redistribute the Service for commercial purposes without prior written consent
7. Company Obligations
The Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide a stable Service and to protect users' personal information, and will respond promptly to legitimate user requests and complaints.
8. Modification or Suspension of the Service
The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the Service when operationally or technically necessary, with prior notice; if prior notice is not feasible, notice will be given afterwards.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Company is not liable for service unavailability caused by force majeure, network failures, or causes attributable to the user, that are beyond the Company's reasonable control. The legal weight and admissibility of any evidence package generated by TrueSnap depend on the jurisdiction and the specific case; the Company does not guarantee acceptance in any particular procedure.
10. Complaint Handling

11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties shall first seek to resolve disputes amicably; failing agreement, disputes shall be brought before the court of competent jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
